Like so many of Artichoke’s projects, the brief was to create a space that feels like it has always belonged and that will remain for generations to come.

After an artful redesign by Nicola Harding & Co, the interiors of this glorious riverside house now have a sense of flow and an easy elegance perfectly suited to a weekend family home. The kitchen’s colour palette was kept deliberately calm with many different greens that echo the views of the garden.

This quirky new build features many original materials from the farmhouse that stood in its place. Rascal & Roses used the original parquet flooring from the dining room to create a new worktop for the kitchen island. The aged brass splashback and hardware work perfectly with the cabinets in Fenwick & Tilbrook's Aged Copper.

Soft, earthy hues and a thoughtful selection of furniture give this extended London townhouse, designed by Design & That, a modern spin that is in keeping with its architecture. Solid oak cabinetry and Calacatta Oro marble bring warmth and texture to the house's kitchen.

Hux designs contemporary kitchens with a timeless feel. The talented team work with an innovative materials palette, covering antique brass to contemporary nanotech composites.
Christopher Horwood14/30Virginia White Collection
This Hampstead Heath mansion flat provided the ideal fresh start for designer Virginia White, of Virginia White Collection, who wanted a new home with fewer superfluous rooms but enough wall space to display her extensive art collection. The kitchen cabinets are painted in Edward Bulmer's 'Jonquil' and the chequerboard floor tiles are from Fired Earth.

Handcrafted in the depths of the Wiltshire countryside, Smallbone's custom-fitted furniture is perfectly designed for individual spaces. From cupboard handles to carefully crafted shelves, each and every detail is thought through with care and precision.

To add additional natural light to the kitchen from Studio 18's Southfields project incorporated the utility cupboards were incorporated as part of the kitchen design, making the space feel larger and making the corners feel brighter.

Kathryn M. Ireland created this beautiful kitchen in Southern California, which is minimal with a contemporary edge. The central island provides ample storage for cooking essentials while also providing a stylish place for guests to sit.

This light-filled space by Chamber Furniture blends contemporary elements with the traditional. Maximal storage can be found in the bespoke cabinetry, whilst the pendant lighting brings the focus of the room to the island.

An adjoining pantry fitted out with sink, dishwasher, induction hob and two ovens enabled designers Guild Anderson to keep the main kitchen space uncluttered and bright in this Somerset manor house. Alcoves on each side of the Aga fit large cupboards, which open up to reveal a deep work surface.
Will Slater20/30HÁM Interiors
Using earthy colours and layers of antiques and textiles, HÁM Interiors transformed this once-pokey cottage in Cornwall into a charming holiday rental. In the kitchen, a prep table-cum-island was designed for the middle of the space to help provide additional counter space.

N&K Interiors combined a muted colour palette, simple furniture and clean lines to create a modern kitchen that is perfect for entertaining. Devol kitchen cabinets, beautiful copper worktops and Perrin & Rowe taps add warmth while a timber-clad ceiling, Zellige tiles, and oak flooring keep the room feeling bright and airy.

Meaning "heart of the home," Cor Domi is a bespoke joinery company specialising in the design and installation of custom kitchens and fitted furniture. The company's design philosophy is rooted in creating timeless spaces that avoid fleeting trends and instead reflect the client’s vision.
27/30Mhairi Coyle Design
Mhairi Coyle Design was tasked to create a warm and inviting hub with a good entertaining space for this country house. She kept the kitchen's existing layout and worktops but added a marble splashback to elevate the space and give it some polish. The leather mid-20th-century, industrial bar stools from Brownrigg give the room even more seating for when the client is hosting guests.

Susie Atkinson of Studio Atkinson’s family house in Hampshire reveals so much about what is important to her – rooms that are elegant but also personal and inviting. In the kitchen, Susie designed the polished steel and oak island, which was made by Rupert Bevan.

Hetherington Newman and Hamilford Design collaborated on this striking kitchen for a lakeside holiday home in the Cotswolds. A palette of warm earth tones, like the rich dark green used on the shaker-style cabinetry and paired with a custom-made bronzed canopy extractor by Hetherington Newman, which acts as a focal point of the space.
